Initiated by Kaushik and Susmita Mazumdar in the year of 2016, KS Production has continuously enriched the endevours of performing Arts in Columbus, Ohio. Inspired by the theory of post modernism and strong believer of ‘Think Globally, Act Locally’ concept.
KS Production’s goal is to showcase South Asian performing arts and culture in this culturally diverse land of North America. In order to give a soothing and entertaining experience to our culture loving audience.
KS Productions also bring new and promising singers from India. Recent successful events include outstanding performances of singers like Shreya Guha Thakurta (2016), Sagnik Sen (2017) and Priyangbada Banerjee (2018).
KS Productions also showcased a very entertaining dance drama Mahishasur Mardini in the year 2016 and very well-known play Bisarjan of Rabindranath Tagore in the year 2017. In the year 2018, KS Productions brought ‘Onnyo Durga’ (The Other Goddess) and ‘Arun Barun Kiranmala, a fairy tale from the land of Bengal. Again in 2019, KS Production staged “Seven Champa Brothers”, a Bengali fairy-tale performed by the local kids and adults of Columbus, Ohio and Surya Sena (‘The Sun Brigade’), written by Indira Bandopadhyay & Dipanjan Maiti and directed by Kaushik Mazumdar.
KS Productions, INC also produces two podcast, ‘Ami Banglay Katha Koi” and “The Revolution – untold story of Indian Freedom Struggle”.
